Clearly you have no idea of the life of a rock star.

Preparation, yodeling, working out, do some lines, drink some scotch, hot tub action, do some groupies.

No time for basketball.

We;ve lost him to the big time now boys.

Just remember him as he was.

What are the chances I can see a setlist before the show?

It's "do you really want to hurt me?" By Culture Club......15 times in a row.

I'll have to run that past the group but I personally think we should keep it under wraps. More exciting that way.

If you like guitar oriented rock, we'll be playing a song or two from almost each decade from the 1960's to the present. (thumbs u

Enya's "Orinoco Flow" for the inevitable encore

Tired body, tired voice. It's the one drawback with singing, especially songs that are tough to do or at the end of your vocal range.

A guitar you can just turn up an amplifier for more volume or change a string if it's broken. With the voice, it's directly affected by how the rest of the body feels so if I'm dehydrated or tired I can't sing after playing basketball for two hours.

It sounds diva-ish but it's actually common with many singers, especially as they age. I once heard it in a Scott Weiland interview and remembered thinking it was just me until I realized that a lot of people have the same issue.

Celine Dion used to go for days without speaking before a show.

Not that I think I'm Celine Dion.

Oh yeah, and Bob's post.

Since you're the lead singer, can the whole set list please be instrumental?

I'm going to sing the theme to Kung Fu Panda just for you.

Does 'classic' rock mean 1980s bands like the Cars, Echo and the Bunnymen, Talking Heads, Blondie, or the 1970s Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Heart?

Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Sabbath.

That sort of classic rock.

If you can get Zeppelin to reunite for this "multimedia event", I'm in.

:headbang:

Yeah, I gave Plant a call but they were too busy to make the show. :insane:

Funny joke.

I was texting with John and he sent me a text stating "Just spoke to Ozzy and he said he's in Chicago that weekend and said he wants to come by the show."

I'm in full freakout mode as I'm a lifelong Ozzy fan since probably 1981.

He then follows up with a 'just kidding' text. doh!

lol he got you good
