I think the colors are much better starting in 1948, which is a couple years before Whitman took over cover duties.

I didn't realize #35 was so tough. Weird, the numbering on the cover of this. Other than the obvious oversize issues and some single digit ones, what other ones are hard? Was this published about the same time as Planet #14,15 which are notoriously hard issues to find?
