Just got in a beautifully color stricken copy of one of my favorite jungle covers. Pencilled by the the underrated Rafael Astarita. Really neat first page splash as well!

In the wild Attic find and in hand.  Loose in a box when I first looked at them.

OO kept flipping through them even as we were negotiating in the $1000s. I did start putting them in mylars even before we struck a deal, it was driving me so crazy. I don’t think I’ve ever found GA raws this nice, ever. Nearly all FH. 
 

She was talking to another dealer too, so the game was afoot.

Couple of weeks ago I was at Heroes and jumped in the Fiction House pool!  I have always liked Sheena, the 80s movie and the recent Dynamite books.  Always looked at the FH books from afar, but finally picked some up.

One thing I am curious about, I have seen a lot of FH books with faded reds.  Is that a common defect?  Did they use cheaper ink/paper?
