I put the :takeit: for a book in a seller's thread after a PM discussion a week ago. I have not received any response from the seller (even though they have read the PM messages) as of yet.

 

My question is, do I;

Forget about it and move on

OR

Expect the seller the honor the agreement

???

Did he say that the book had been sold PRIOR to your :takeit: i.e. you were negotiating a price (say he wanted $50 for X-men #1 (1991) 9.8 and you said in PM could you do $35 and he said yea I can do that) and then you posted the :takeit: so negotiations were still going on or was it closed and he sold it well after you put down the :takeit: I would say you have a case for the PL if it's the second but not if it's the first.

We had reached an agreement

after I put down the flag he sent me PM saying the book was sold.

 

I would think it is the second scenario

How much after? Is he claiming it had been sold first? (i.e. that you put down the flag and then he said O hey sorry, someone claimed it before you did?) Then it would most likely be the first scenario, but could be rebutted with proof.

I always take the side of misunderstanding, thats why i'm not so quick to jump on the PL wagon.

I resolved the issues that happened with me on here within hours, I hope other will do the same.
