We here at Atlas Railways pride ourselves on the punctuality of our service.

Despite extensive damage to our system caused by monsters, alien invasions and insane giants, we still manage to hit our reliability target of getting a train through on time at least once every three months.

If you've ever been to England, that's quite impressive by our inferior real-world standards.

I already have the Amazing Fantasy Omnibus, so it would make a nice addition.

It's clearly far more comprehensive than the Monster Masterworks done back in the 80s, and I'm pleased to see that my lesser-known favourite, Shagg, has made the cut here.

"Bring me one Earthling who dares to accept my challenge....or else face the wrath of Zarkorr!"

"Heaven help me!! No other man can accept his challenge... except me!"

"OK, are you ready Earthling?"

"Yes Zarkorr. I am"

"OK, then I shall begin. My first is in cat, but not in dog..... "

"How did I get here? Wha-what is happening to me?"

"You have become the newest victim of HAGG, Hunter of Helpless Humans!"

"Oh, right. Gotcha. Here, you don't know Shagg by any chance do you Hagg? He was around here terrorising the place the other week."

"What?!?"

Hagg, Son of Shagg.

That's the way I would've gone.

Missed opportunity.

Is there any place where these covers are collected I love the artwork.

The budget option would be to go to the Grand Comics Database website and look at their cover galleries.

Someone should post some pictures of the splash pages from the Marvel monster comics. The ones I have seen are awesome.

Kirby and Ditko were masters at creating dynamic or surreal / intriguing splash pages, respectively, getting their short stories off to a very strong start.
