Robot Man
Flea market score this morning. Un-built in the original box from 1966. Was very happy until the guy pulled out a stack of this kids Marvels and handed them to my buddy... Hey, you win some and you lose some. At least they went to a good friend instead of one of the slimey flippers that prowl this show! STORMSHADOW_80

Cobbledclam
Mr Steve Ditko, At least 54 years an obsession for me. Thank gosh for what seemed like "older" relatives at the time. Teen-age cousins who had stacks of those funny books sitting around for us youngin's to read and chill out to while the older folks got their load on during Friday night family get-togethers. Some of the best and weirdest aliens and feeble looking old people ever! ?? STORMSHADOW_80 and woowoo
Robot Man
Theres a party going on! Small but packed with books and collectors. Hit 3 dealers and spent a good amount of cash already! Badger, jimjum12, HENRYSPENCER and 1 other

Just think how rare this little mail away membership pin is? Stumbled on to it by chance at a flea market. A guy had the EC metal pin and this. I think I was more excited by this. Never seen another one. Didn't IBM have a house publication titled "THINK"? It was Tom Watson, Sr.'s slogan and I think a sign with that word hung in everyone's office. I assume the title of this mag was a takeoff on that. Very cool pin! 1950's war comics

Robot Man
OK... Had a nice 20 minute straight through drive to the Hilton. Walked in, said my name and walked in to the comic section. Not real big but if you are a box diver a full day of digging and hit every dealer with maybe a half hour left over. Did a lot of visiting and buying! Popular Post Robot Man
First stop was Ritchie from Bedrock. One of the best dealers in the biz. He knows what I like and had a box ready for me. I checked the wall, pulled down a cool book and hit his boxes. Got a ton of ECs and a bunch of other cool stuff. We talked some World Series from last year, I peeled off a bunch of Benjamin’s and on my way I went. Robot Man
Next one I saw was Brad Sloan F-VF. Annother great dealer. Dug a few books out of his boxes including one of those deal of the day type buys! Great prices and a standup guy.

Robot Man
I bumped into David Arnold with a killer Catman 32. Would have bought it but he was quicker. If you want it, it should be on EBay very soon. HENRYSPENCER
Popular Post Robot Man
Ran into Dale. Plesent surprise since he wasn’t listed on the dealer list. Got a cool Baker book and a nice Schoenberg Nedor I needed. Plus a couple more ECs and a few other books. I love handing my money to guys like him! alexgross.com, HENRYSPENCER, STORMSHADOW_80 and 2 others
Robot Man
Also ran into Gus from Silver Age comics out of NY. A great gut that I haven’t seen since I stopped going to SDCC. Also a fun surprise. He was sharing a booth with my good friend Ron Murray. Ron is recovering from a bad leg problem. Glad to see you looking good buddy! He was joined by the one and only Carbo!
