Well, it's new to me. I hadn't checked there for a while. Someone just consigned a boatload of walking dead pages & covers over there. Only people it could possibly be are Adlard, Moore or Kirkman. Probably the latter.

No, it's all from the James J Collection.

Big Adams fan here, and never thought of this as a very memorable cover, so I think the seller did very well.  Probably a fair deal for the buyer too.  Everyone wins.

Yeah, I'm underwhelmed by this cover.  Has a lot of characters, but not very good/flattering shots IMO.  I suppose a Solomon Grundy-dominated cover beats a Psycho-Man dominated cover, but...

I normally love Adams/Giordano, but the inking here is loose and there's not much background detail outside of the heap of characters on the floor.  Just feels like a piece that checks a lot of boxes (Adams, check; 1971, check; multiple JLA members, check) but doesn't really thrill the eye. At least not mine.

I liked the JLA #66 cover that sold for less at Heritage last year about 100x better.  It checks the less desirable 1968 box, yes, but it is just a much more appealing cover IMO (IIRC I was the underbidder on that one; I had zero interest in bidding on the one tonight).

Well, it sold for $3k LESS than a Capullo Batman cover.....how many boxes does that check?

$7900 for Jim Lee card art of Psylocke and Captain Britain seems insane to me.

The psylocke was re-used as a variant cover. Now I want to figure out if I can extrapolate the value of my sabretooth card art, which was also used as a variant cover from that finish

Big Barda Byrne Porn Tape Cover....$14,750...

Yeah, I'd say that's right on target given the last couple of Byrne Superman cover sales on clink...  As much as I liked that era and the art, that story was so slimy I just couldn't bring myself to bid.

That Next Men cover was only $600...  I probably woulda bid on that one but I forgot about it!
