as a young boy around 1968 !

My local cinema was a mile away from my home and I and a few friends used to go by bus so after the movie was over as we got on the bus on the way home we would play act the movie we had just seen. The busman got to know us and could name what movie we had just seen War Western or Bond u.n.c.l.e and my favourite Batman 66, in fact my older brother stills complains  50 odd years later because my father made him bring me.:)

Bond in comics and strips (not the girls) awwww.. As you love the 50's you should try to get the Bond omnibus volumes I have them all and they are fantastic reading and it's uncanny how much the Bond in the strips looks like Connery. Also a bit of trivia did you know Patrick McGoohan suggested him for the role.

Why do people in the world's most secret organization wear a ring to show everyone they are in it?  Kind of counterproductive to your mission statement, right?

Speaking of Mission impossible in the last series 1989-90 Jane Badler was one of the cast and we all know her taste in hamsters?

That's some 80's hair right there.  The guys in any hair metal band would have killed for hair like that.

With mentioning both the Avengers and u.n.c.l.e  what do you get if you cross two of the stars from each show: David McCallum and Joanna Lumley in the very eerie tv series called Sapphire and Steel. It aired in the early 70's on British TV and is well remembered for its creepy time elements stories, a must watch series.<35ad20a2d21a95_SS_Whitelink.gif.3734cee5c1a138b6e5ab208669bfcfab.gifaaass.thumb.jpg.42d5d80f260dadc0960a2f640aa48145.jpg

Speaking of James Bond villains, I'm actually doing interviews and research now for a magazine biography on Milton Reid who played henchmen in both Dr. No and The Spy Who Loved Me. Besides numerous roles as film villains, Reid was also a professional wrestler known as The Mighty Chang.

Milton Ried looks like Odd Job?But Odd Job was the best ‼️

Here is an odd story about Odd Job - Reid wanted the role so badly he actually challenged the Great Togo who producers picked to a wrestling match to determine who would get the role! The producers already decided on Togo as Reid was already in a Bond film so the match never happened. Reid did eventually get to do a second Bond film plus numerous related spy films - Casino Royale, Deadlier than the Male, etc... Here is the newspaper article about the feud.

plus fingerprint smudges everywhere and the decals i placed on were not much better...
