Stress the value repeatedly to assure that whomever reads the report can't miss the fact that this is not an "average" comic book and that it being stolen constitutes a major theft Cite GP Analysis as a source for the current market value and stress that GP is the hobby's standard for CGC comic pricing, a reflection of actual online sales, updated minute by minute, rather than simply someone's opinion. This goes without saying, but within the report, it's best to mention it several times so this information cannot be overlooked by investigators unfamiliar with comic values. Also, do you have any detailed pictures of the book prior to it being CGC graded? Raw, hopefully? If so, please post them all as they would help to identify this book if it's cracked out and re-slabbed, or offered anywhere raw. Because this book has a unique assortment of visibly recognizable flaws, unlike any other 15, I'm certain that the hobby will mobilize behind you and if this is offered anywhere for sale, it will be noticed. Slabbed or raw. Also, if you have the back cover scan, that would be very helpful to post it here for sure. punksdropdirtysrh
Dealers should consider putting up some hidden cameras, if some don’t already. Hopefully this is recovered soon. Good that you recognized it quickly. lhcomics

Ride the Tiger
That really sucks. Does the place that runs the convention have cameras within that they can look thru? Raze

Also important to note that this book may be offered for sale without the plastic housing. HENRYSPENCER
That has to be one of the nicest AF15 5.0's I've ever seen in that grade. No Marvel chipping, dead on QP/registration and white pages. The Lions Den and lhcomics

The perp, if he has half a brain, will undoubtedly be removing it from the holder and trying to alter the appearance for a quick resell. Since it's stolen them making $500 on a $40k would be profitable. Watch out for dumps locally in the Chicago area. He's apparently done some research if he took that exact title (is there a more liquid book in the hobby than AF15?).
