Went to my first Con today, pulp fiction convention Westlake, Ohio. A bust but these were my pick ups: 2220AB15-A56D-4E00-9E11-99737D08B66C.thumb.jpeg.066d3f46fb471a02e2780767b995e989.jpeg887CD041-7C0B-4C3E-B320-7FE481712A14.thumb.jpeg.caa417a90b228128ae46a4b65f580731.jpeg

Admirable for sure, fairly classic covers. Kamandi was being picked up by a few a while back and got to love submariner.

Is it a one day con? Or going back?

Glad to here you ventured out either way. :)

One day show, probably won’t be going back. But it did give me the itch to attend other cons. Not going to lie the sticker shock took me back alittle lol. Folks had raw books priced higher than graded copies.

For Sure! Lol it takes preparation lol and some swallowing with a gulp to stare at some prices. I've tried telling myself that some of it is the tax, even when paying cash. Still I'm sure they have costs, so bargaining is kept to a minimum with me but does still happen :)

Congrats on the 1st con, I'm glad it was a good experience for you :x most important thing.

Great stuff. TTA 57 is still way underappreciated, I think. Way off the radar for a lot of folks.

Been eagerly awaiting a valuable slabbed comic and thought this was it, until I slogged thru the multiple layers of wrapping to find a raw single I forgot I’d bought for $12.50 one night on eBay. Glad I didn’t purchase the slab from this guy or it’d arrive in an armored truck 🤦‍♂️
