Many other books sold for less than GPA as well.

Been cooling down since the may peak. Not enough for me but every post on the cl auction has had lots of red. December January February are normally down months. I don't expect a uptick until March April.

I will take random comics you don’t need for 100. I did pick up some books I did need for my TTA and TOD runs but these were not on my radar (except Mask 1 and Droids 1). I don’t drink so I can’t use the “drunk bidding” story. 
 And what makes someone want to send in the American Cancer society giveaway in that condition? I have been looking at adding the 80’s giveaway comics so I guess that one fits a need. If CL ever added the “ these books need a press” category all of them would fit.

Had kind of a weird win on CL last night.  Had a max bid in on this one, but lost track of the time and came back almost at the end to see I'd been outbid.  Still a pretty good price, so I put in a slightly higher max bid, but when I clicked "confirm," I got an "auction has ended" error message.   But a couple hours later I received a "winning bidder" email from Comiclink!  Perhaps a glitch so we'll see if it holds.

Mine was a 9.4 iirc. I'm getting sucked back in with Savage Sword of Conan mags, planning to look for a #1 next month if the budget permits.

When I was living in Boise, I got rid of #21-up, to try to get rid of some of the bulk.

I do still have my 1-20 run though, which I purchased off the newsstands.

I still remember the grocery store in Oakridge, Oregon where I bought the #1s. I would of been 13 years old at the time....,

Got blown out on several things, but got some saucy consolation prizes. I really wanted the Legionnaires book, which is one of my favorites in the run (I have a copy signed by AH and Karl Story 20+ years ago) which has the double distinction of being a Hughes 9.8 AND a DC Logo variant. I also have been looking for this naughty Red Sonja cover for a while in 9.8, so I went after it as well. The Gen 13 is a cheap one for my registry set, the JLA a cheap 2nd print, and the Fog City a decent copy of a book I've liked for a long time (tastefully censored here with my superior graphic design skills!)

So, I was mercifully outbid on the bigger books, which is just fine by me right now. Holidays, black friday, some random long time wants popping up on eBay and MCS, etc it's an expensive month.
