No worries. Here is "an" example of a Newsstand barcode and the thread you might have meant to post in.

Sometimes one thread gets bumped over the other and can accidentally get mistaken for each other.

The four issues of Venom clearly say "DIRECT EDITION", so your statement "I know what newstands are" is questionable.

Big picture drop, but these are some books I've found over the summer, all gotten for half the cover price courtesy of Half Price Books, except for the Zealot # 1. I found that in a dollar bin at a comic shop. I just hate how they put a black marker line in the barcode to prevent it from scanning or whatever.

As well a CGC 9.8 of New X-Men 128 in Newsstand sold for over a grand after I bought my CBCS 9.8 for $115.

I have to admit, I am a bit surprised. Although, I was selling certain 9.8 newsies for up a 1K years ago to private collectors.

Forget all the claptrap about print run, he can’t even get the basic fact right that the reboot after New 52, Rebirth, was also available as a newsstand. Is that a “banger” too? A double super banger maybe?

Glad you got it though, and it's even been subbed as the label of edition and such. I've submitted a few that was before the notation, that I don't think it is being snubbed at the moment,  but will eventually? Idk
