Anyone ever seen this before? If so, why would this be the way to do it?

Won a mixed New 52 lot on eBay for $40. The listing itself made no mention that they were all newsstands, but luckily there were lots of photos. Plenty of condition issues, but there are a couple in decent shape - the Batman 1 isn't too bad, and it seemed like the lot was well worth it for that book alone.

Got the last piece I needed today (#610), so I now finally have a full Hush (Batman 608-619) newsstand run! I was trying to do as much of it as possible on the cheap through buying runs and lots or finding them in the wild. I think I probably have nearly four full Hush runs at this point from buying books in lots and small collections that way. If I averaged it out across all I've spent to get these and the other Hush issues (mostly non-newsstand, but a few newsstand doubles), I'm sitting at an average cost per book around $9. Not too shabby!

I was going to try to do that for the registry, that and the #600's from ASM. It got convoluted and I didn't have the patience to keep after it 😂

Here are some Hickman Fantastic Four's I just got back from CGC.

And I finally completed my Venom: Lethal Protector set. It took me a while to find #6 in 9.8.

I knew this wouldn't come back 9.8, but I submitted it anyway since I've only ever found 1 of them (the foil cover and newsstand, I've seen a ton of the non-foil, newsstand cover).

I do if it is a run I have fond memories for. I've been trying to put together Hickman's run on Fantastic Four (even though I'm almost positive #600 doesn't exist in newsstand). I know they're not the most collectible issues, but I like preserving them.

First appearance of baby Hope Summers and the last issue that I needed to complete my newsstand run of the 1991 X-men series (up until it was renamed “X-men: Legacy” at issue #208…still need about another 30 issues from that point).

While this is not a "newsstand", which is the title for this thread, still a great copy!
