Darwination
A similar composition, Roger Kastel seems to like this angle Interestingly, I'm finding a lot more eBay sellers listing these with a splash as the first auction image. Those of us who collect these know that a good splash is a huge draw, but I'm still surprised with the choice of those over a cover. Popular Post Darwination
MAMs not in the pulp area, eh? These are pulps, and don't let the high falutin kind of fiction lover tell you otherwise. P U L P My complete run of Rage, one of Everett Arnold's sweats. I've got dupes of some of these and I think a much better copy of the v01n01. Most if not all of them have splash work from Matt Baker among their other charms. Natlus would come out with a new series by the same name in 1960. Scanwork of a Baker splash in v01n03 for an early Harlan Ellison piece of journalism as he infiltrates street gangs to get the lowdown. These late covers remind me of Italian horror movies of the period. This is a great one. lbcolefan and Randall Dowling

Axe Elf
That was to be the cover for "Wolverines Ripped My Flesh," the lost album by Frank Zappa. RedRaven

Darwination
Yasssss, love to meet some other collectors of these. I wish I'd picked up more of them when you could get lots for dirt cheap. You can find great splash pages all over the place, but there's no doubt the nice copies of the ones with great cover art are a prize. I'd like a nicer copy of this one: Worship my missile, ladies Edited October 1, 2023 by Darwination Flex Mentallo and lbcolefan

And I'm creating an anachronism and or time paradox here. Where late 1950s Nazis are: capturing American suburban housewives Washing and preparing them for Travel via time machine to the late 1930s for proto-Nazi scientists to entube them. I don't have any hard data on this but it *feels* like most of the entubements happened in the 1930s to mid 1940s. Darwination
Not my copy, but one that showed up in my eBay emails. I thought I'd throw it in with the dripping redheads up there.
