Just got a nice email from Comiclink that shipping is only $20 not $50. I appreciate the customer service and the fact that they are attentive to the boards. For some reason I am only being offered express shipping at checkout is the reason for the $50 quote.

Only $50?  ComicLink charged me $60 to ship one book.  It does seem excessive.  I don’t remember it ever being that much before.

Yes indeed, I was all in at the full $88K for the book.  :takeit:

That was until I saw the $4.95 shipping charge when I couldn't come up with any more money to foot this fee.

No way me too! But seriously , no really seriously, I wonder if people do that for legal/liability reasons. For instance say there is a problem with shipping like it gets lost, this way the seller can say that the buyer agreed to the shipping carrier. For me it gives the impression they may send it media mail or something even though I know that is highly unlikely.

To answer Mr LDarkseid's question I doubt it will selll for that asking price anytime soon.

Not sure why Wonder Woman 1 prices have been so strong with Sensation 1 in a distant 3rd in MV.

i feel like being in her own self titled book is a big deal for many people. sensation 1 lies in a strange netherworld between first appearance and first issue of ww. i also think ww1 is a better cover. i'd rather have ww1, personally.

Compared to prices in 2018 and 2019,  2020 sales seem softer especially consider strong sales for other GA keys.

I totally agree. Seems like it went low -- great for buyer. Not so the seller. Stating the obvious of course! :insane:

A lot of the books that I was watching went for very solid prices even though they were mid-grade copies.  A CGC 5.5 copy of Fantastic 6 (Fox) went for 4x Guide; a CGC 5.5 copy of Speed Comics 35 went for 5x Guide, and a CGC 5.0 copy of Pep 32 went for a whopping 7x Guide.

Not sure why anyone would be interested in those. (:

Sen 1 > AS 8 > WW 1 for me coverwise..  Still think Sensation 1 is underappreciated and undervalued compared to the two.  It's also the hardest to find out of the three with AS 8 being the easiest.

AS 8 > Sen 1 > WW 1 IMO.  I get it Sen 1 is the best book with the best cover and is the rarest of the 3 but first appearance is first appearance in my book

Truthfully the 6.5 on c-link was solidly superior to the eBay 6.5 copy. So I wouldn’t be surprised if it sits for a while.

Peter, is Kurt Russell’s Elvis TV movie the greatest depiction of The King ever ?

No.

"Elvis: That's the way it is" -> That's the greatest depiction.
