Great pick-ups! I've always been especially fond of the Russ Heath cover for Astonishing #8

 

..... for me, the icing on the cake of this lot is easily the Spellbound 7.... that was a bargain when Roy offered it ....... The Everett story is great and I always liked the surreal way the Skeleton's shadow also becomes the man's shadow. GOD BLESS...

Not an easy book and I have been a prolific buyer of this issue for some time.

Beautiful #37 !!!! Love it. It seems like there is a mystery barrier for a PreHero book to cross from 7.5 to 8.0 . As you, I wanted an 8.0 on my JIM 30 but it didn't make it. I could never figure out why but I it's okay. 7.5 is a really good grade from this era.
