Yeah, that Astonishing #39 is one of my favorite post code Atlas books. I think I was also inspired by Adam to pick one up back when I was just a lowly lurker.

I usually don't wander too far into the postcode realm but this was always a favorite since I first saw a copy posted here on the boards, I think by Adamstrange.

Nice pickup's, Jayman! That post-coder seems to be somewhat rare, prolly because it's a tame cover for a suspense book.

Here we go .. My very first Atlas book .. Arrived yesterday!

 

.. it's beat-up .. Super-Low grade and slabbed by another company (soon to be broken out and subbed to CGC) .. but it's mine, all mine

 

On the plus-side .. I paid very, very, very little for it

Man, the CCA sure made these artists think outside the box on these post code covers! With the constraints of not using corpses, vampires or werewolves Everett does a superb job of conveying terror and impending doom on this cover. Brilliant!

 

The Atlas Tales website says ther is a story inside titled: Trapped in the Ant Hill!

How is it compared to Antman's story?
