Dear god thats beautiful, would never tire of looking at it.

It's a great cover with a great interior: Everett, Tuska and Heath drawing stories written by Stan Lee.

.... if you remember the day you bought this, I have a question. Did you see it and think, man, that's cool, I'm snagging it...... or had you been on the lookout for a copy ? GOD BLESS.....

I've been looking for Menace 1 starting back in the early 90s. The first shot I had at a nice one was the 9.2 Bethlehem which sold in a G. Manning auction for, what seemed at the time, an outrageous sum because every slabbed book sold for a record price.

I do remember the day I bought mine as I made a special trip to NYC to look at the Northford Collection. It was my first visit to the old Metropolis office (an amazing place!) and was thrilled to walk away with this copy.

That had to have been an amazing experience.

Was there a complete Northford Menace run?

I had the opportunity to see almost all of the Northfords. They were quite a sight, though condition did vary from vg at the worst to nm+ at the best.

I don't recall seeing the entire Menace run in that collection but there were some of them.

Been a while since I've posted anything, so here is one for my fellow Atlas addicts:

If only the woman's face had been drawn by Everett and the zombie also and if there was just some signature Everett signature line work and oh if it had that fantastic signature right in the broken glass window....basically I want Everett to go back in time and re-do this composition in his style - no offense Sol or whoever inked this.

Yeah, you should only collect Everett covers. Send me this poopy book and I'll gladly relieve you of this inferior non-Everett atrocity! :baiting:

Everett Subby! :headbang:

Despite creating the character, Everett only drew 3 GA/Atomic Age covers. This is one of them.

Barely squeaked into Code. It won't get the love it deserves in silver, so here it is. Couldn't be more stoked! 19 pgs of Everett pencils and inks inside. Might have to release the Kracken!

..... the Submariner Atlas Masterworks volume has all the 50's Subbys reprinted in one volume..... worth it's weight in gold. This issue is the second Atlas comic I ever owned. The first was a real nice Yellow Claw 3. It would look good in a mylar. GOD BLESS...
