Lower grades, but I got a good price and couldn't pass them up! A-Man's "mask" is very weird in his early appearances. Almost like they didn't come up with a design in time so they just smudged black ink on his face. Mmehdy and OtherEric
OtherEric
I've seen several reports that Overstreet did better overall this year than they have in quite a while. Which may be true, but the improvements didn't get as far as Strange Adventures. 50, 79, and 110 aren't broken out... but 80 is. These aren’t the most recognizable books, or just the series in general. OtherEric
LDarkseid1
Just noticed some nice early copies selling in a current Heritage auction. I’m curious to see how the #9 does. Feel like a solid mid grade copy hasn’t sold at auction for a while. Edited August 18, 2022 by LDarkseid1 OtherEric and frozentundraguy

Popular Post OtherEric
A handful today. The 19 is beautiful except for the small hole punches, which made it nicely affordable. The 24 is trashed... but for under $10, well worth it as a filler. The 100 seems to be getting a little scarcer, I think a combo of the big round number phenomena and a gorilla cover: Mmehdy, LDarkseid1, adamstrange and 3 others

Also the #24 is nigh impossible to find in higher mid grade, forget about higher grade. I think it was a miracle I got my 5.0 for under $100. LDarkseid1
Quick update on the Heritage copies. Have to say, pretty solid so far with a day left before the live auction even starts. The #9 though I’d say is still a bit low. All prices with BP: Strange Adventures 4 8.0: $396 Strange Adventures 6 7.0: $306 Strange Adventures 7 6.5: $204 Strange Adventures 8 7.0: $288 Strange Adventures 9 7.0: $990 Strange Adventures 10 7.5: $312 Strange Adventures 11 7.5: $306 Strange Adventures 14 7.5: $312 OtherEric

For two reasons really, overall these are actually feeling like pretty strong sales, but also super affordable compared to some of the other great golden age sci-fi series, like Planet Comets. Mind you Planet is in a league of its own, but still. So I just think there's solid room for growth and there's 100% deals to be had on a bunch of these books online. I mean the #8 7.0 sitting at over $500 with the live auction about to start for more bids, and an 8.0 is conveniently sitting on Ebay for $600. Don't know how that hasn't been snatched up!
