Galen130
Zero Hour Ashcan (B&W) and Zero Hour sample. These items were originally handed out at comic stores in preparation for Zero Month. The ashcan features a number of DC character appearances, including Batgirl and Waverider. I'm not going to get into detail about the condition of these two items, since they aren't really comics. I'd give both of them at least a Near Mint minus at least. The ashcan is actually listed in the current CPG...the sampler is not. If anyone wishes to buy all five Zero Hour comics, I will throw them in for free. I'd rather not separate them as they came together. $5, PLUS SHIPPING (both items)
Popular Post Galen130
Well, fellow collector's....this sales thread is now complete!! At least, there is very little else to list. I will get to any straggler comics at a later date. It took almost a year and seven months to get my CA/MA collection listed...now totaling almost 16 long boxes (down from 20). Except for pulling about ten pages of CGC slabs, I consider this thread finished!!! I will leave the thread going for a while because I will list any stragglers I find and I'll probably make tweaks to the listings, like separating lists of runs into separate listings with photos. We'll see how I feel. Besides, come July of this year (the two year mark for the thread), I won't be able to make edits to listings that are two years old. That's how the software works now. Also, since I no longer do business with CGC, there will be no more new slabs for sale. I may, in the future, put up my remaining slabs for sale...they've had their run for the time being. I will continue listing non-sport cards in my Misc. sales thread, and at some point I'd like to list all my magazines (mostly MAD and comic-related stuff) in the same thread. There is a link to that thread in the 'About Me' section of my profile, if you're curious. In the near future, I will probably renew my SA/BA sales thread...I have very little to sell. That thread will probably only take up a couple pages of listings of comics that I will no longer be sending to CGC. I will make an announcement in the sales thread forum when the time comes. There are a lot of people to thank for making purchases, and I'm sure many more for visiting. I can't remember everyone who's made purchases since July 2020, but I'm going to do my best: @lonetree, @Jginsberg79, @Funnybooks, @CHASEnBLUE, @Mecha_Fantastic, @littledoom, @srezvan, @Jesse-Lee, @SkOw, @Inaflash, @FlyingDonut, @SpideyFein, @sevans1979, @Pitboss, @Chaz G., @AlexH, @s-man, @nicka, and everyone else I forgot. Many, many, many thanks!!! Jesse-Lee, CHASEnBLUE, littledoom and 4 others 4

Galen130
Direct edition copy of Action Comics #686. This issue is Funeral For A Friend, Part 6. The story features Supergirl (Matrix). I believe this comic to be in Very Fine condition, or better. There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a small handful of spine stress creases/ticks that very lightly break the ink. The back cover, below the top two yellow arrows, shows a mild finger bend that very lightly breaks the ink…mainly a spot of ink loss. $3, PLUS SHIPPING SOLD Edited July 31, 2022 by Galen130

Galen130
1st print, direct edition copy of Adventures of Superman #498. This issue is Funeral For A Friend, Part 1, and it is dedicated to the memory of Joe Shuster. I believe this comic to be in Very Fine minus condition, or better. There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a few spine stress creases/ticks that lightly break the ink. The front cover shows a couple finger bends/indentations that can be pressed out. One of these indentations is at the top page edge, near the letter ‘F’ in ‘Friend’ that barely breaks the ink. $4, PLUS SHIPPING SOLD Edited July 31, 2022 by Galen130
