Are prices still climbing or have they eased up a bit???

That book had to come up for air at some point.

Its had a stronger run of price support, better than 181!

It does seem like the regular weekly Heritage auctions that come immediately after one of their Signature auctions suffer from a "hangover".    Not sure they wouldn't be better off suspending the weekly during those weeks - especially as the Signature auction run over 4 days and each day can last a long time.   I didn't think the Saturday auction was ever going to be over as I was waiting for some books to come up.

In bear comics market they will be lucky to survive. Perhaps if they ditch Tuck et al's cheapjack cheesy Hype Columns, improve their interface and focus on nothing but competing with GPA they will have a shot...?

If they could improve their accuracy, they'd already have GPA beat, but for pure pricing, I still trust GPA.  Why GPA couldn't do something like indexes to attract some interest, I still don't know - Lord knows they've got the data.  GoCollect's best advantage was probably the fact they have pictures of the comics sold.

Here are Session 1A and 1B results from the June ComicLink Focused Auction.   As with last auction - also included a % change look between last, 90, and 12.    I will not be doing this recap for the July auction if anyone cares.

On a serious note, mid grade is holding ground better than the high grade.   It looks like peoples price brackets are in play looking through the clink results.   200+ pages of books under $1,000, except for a few exceptions.

It's shocking how awful the results are

Guess it’s all perspective. What’s really shocking to me is how much people are still paying for common as dirt books. Over $6300 for an ASM 14 in 8.5 as an example. Great book and way down from its COVID high but still a lot of money.

Perspective is relative I guess. In cards, that would be considered pretty low census numbers.

Regardless of the numbers actually spent, I am surprised that not only are prices still dropping, they are still accelerating in some cases. I figured the "bottom" would be 2019 numbers, but that may have been optimistic.

TMNT1 8.5 for 12,850 is awful, anyone have a link to this book? I'd like to see it. A 9.0 just sold on eBay for 20K in the past week

I've stopped selling on Clink for the time being.  I do much better on eBay with buy it now / make an offer or auction format with "safe" minimums.

100% agree. Never again will send stuff to CL. other venues a lot better.

Thank you. I was wondering if it had white pages and sure enough it does. Not seeing any reason this book should've went so low. It's easily a $18K book all day. I sold my 8.5 for around that much earlier this year and the book has been on a slight uptick I thought after seeing the 9.0 eBay sale.

Only if they like to pay less than if they bought via E-Bay BINs. Paying less is for wimps.

Hey, I resemble that statement…:roflmao:

I rarely “kiss and tell” on what I pay for something. But I am a lot happier when I get a great deal rather than strutting around trying to justify why I overpaid.

Always been about the “thrill of the hunt”…

I can't zoom that up and see the grade. With that said, that's a signature combination that won't be repeated much.

and this is with the new Wolverine movie coming out next month. Makes me think Superhero movie hype is dead.hm

which is weird.

Because 3.0's sell for like $2200+

At first, I was like, "a BIN? ok they didn't mind leaving 'money on the table?' but then the best offer through me!" lol it doesn't say how long it was listed for, but :whatthe:
