Of course, even the greats swiped from each other frequently - Al Williamson acknowledged a debt to Frank Bellamy, Bellamy to Matania, and so on! Anything to meet a deadline more quickly!

Thanks -I hacked the IKEA Kallax unit to build a custom bookcase for the artbooks that would fit an extra shelf from floor to ceiling (clearance 1mm!)

The key bit is the end of the quote, though:  “Then draw the **** out of whatever’s left!”

Here are my shelves of Gregg, Subterranean, Centipede, Cemetery Dance, Suntip et al Small Press fine editions. For these, I generally stick to authors whose work I know well and rate highly -,Samuel R. Delany, Gene Wolfe, Dan Simmons, Steven Erikson, Joe Abercrombie, Connie Willis, etc etc.
