There are several issues that I think are scored less than they should be - Batman #608 City of Burbank edition is the rarest of all variants for the Batman Hush run. It is not for retail sale and only available as a promotional giveaway through the City of Burbank instagram page. So far only 20 copies have been given away and 5 of those have been graded. The issues that have come for sale have fetched a couple K... - Wonder Woman # 1 (2016) convention/2nd printing - this is the gold foil cover that was printed in error for NYCC. Only a limited amount were printed with the error. There is even a more a rarer sub-variant of the book which has a gold cover and silver back. - There were several 1:1000 variants re-mastered variants that Marvel released of Jim's work. These are all highly sought in high grades: Captain America #700 remastered Sketch variant X-Men: Blue #1 X-Men: Gold #1 Astonishing X-Men #1 Thanks! Adjusted Batman 608. The registry does not differentiate between subvariants, unfortunately. A Universal 9.4, highest graded, only grades out at 150 points. Can this be adjusted? His is worth 300, mine says 405, while the 1st ranked set has a 9.6, and it has 675 points. Attached are pics of the rankings, and what the Batman Beyond #1 points system say, 675 and 405 are nowhere to be found. jcronin Posted May 21, 2022 Share Posted May 21, 2022 Hello, Although I recognize that entire sets is not what you are looking to fix, I would appreciate your consideration in raising the point value of the Marc Spector: Moon Knight series from its current numbers to something in the realm of the new Moon Knight books. It does not have to be on an individual basis, but the books current values (other than the Platt Covers) are well below the current 2021 Moon Knight run. Also for some reason my Black Panther book has a score of Zero. I recognize it is not a key, but it should be worth something Thank you for your time and consideration. If points are based loosely off of what books sell for then these should be adjusted: Amazing Fantasy 15 CGC 7.5 - Currently has a score of 91667. If you look at GPA as well as auction results the book has recently been selling in the $300k range. Even if you disclude the 2022 sales the books has been selling around $150k since 2017 so the score should be adjusted to at a minimum 150000 points. Fantastic Four 1 CGC 8.0 - Currently has a score of 58800. GPA for lower grades (7.5) is currently selling for $168k, (6.5) $88k, and higher grades (9.2) $1.5mil. So the 8.0 is very underscored currently. It should be at least tripled at a minimum. Incredible Hulk 1 CGC 8.5 - Currently has a score of 159524. GPA for this grade is currently $245k and lower grades (8.0) are $188k and (7.5) $106k. The 8.5 should be adjusted to at least 200000 points at a minimum. Showcase 4 CGC 8.5 - Currently has a score of 36180. Prices are a little tricky because it doesn't come up often at high grade. The last public GPA sale was in 2017 for $150k. However a 4.5 sold in 2022 for almost $33k which is basically what the current points are for the 8.5. So this book is very underscored. It should be at least 150000 points maybe more. Showcase 22 CGC 8.5 - Currently has a score of 8375. This may be the most underscored book in my request. CGC 5.5 currently sell for $8855 which is about the current points for the 8.5. The last recorded GPA sale was in 2020 at 8.5 for $36k. A 9.0 sold in 2019 for $66k which is already 3 years old and would go for more in the current market. So the 8.5 should be at least 50000 points, maybe more as it is scarce and sitting at the top of its census numbers. X-Men 1 CGC 9.2 - Currently has a score of 112500. The last 3 sales on GPA in grade are $250k, $276k and $305k. Lower grades are selling for higher than the current points. This book should be at least 250000 points. Fantastic Four 5 CGC 8.0 - Currently has a score of 9870. Last GPA sale in grade from 2021 is $24k. Lower grades (7.0) have sold in 2022 for $37k (6.0) $28k. So this book is underscored. It should be at least 45000 points or more. Fantastic Four 52 CGC 9.0 - Currently has a score of 3700. In grade since 2021 sales have been 410k-$13k. This book should be at least 10000 points. Journey Into Mystery 83 CGC 8.0 - Currently has a score of 30450. Last sale in grade was $69k in 2021. In lower grades (7.0) in 2022 for $41k and (6.5) for $29k. So this book is underscored. It should be at least 50000 points or more. Journey Into Mystery 85 CGC 9.2 - Currently has a score of 10500. There hasn't been a sale in grade since 2019 but a 7.5 sold recently for $15k. 9.2 sits towards the top of the census on a tough book. I would think this book should have a score of at least 35000 points if not more. Strange Tales 110 CGC 9.0 - Currently has a score of 16000. In grade last sale was $41k with a lower grade of 8.5 selling for $26k. This book should be at least 35000 points or more. Tales of Suspense 39 CGC 8.0 - Currently has a score of 18900. Last sale in grade was 2021 for $89k. Lower grades (7.0) have sold this year for $50k (6.5) for $33k. This book should be at least 65000 points or more. Superman 2 CGC 8.0 - Currently has a score of 8400. The last sale in grade was 2019 for $42.5k. Lower grades (7.5) for $37k and (6.0) for $15k. This book is one of the tougher Superman books form the Golden Age and is way under scored. It should be at least 45000 points or higher. More Fun Comics 101 CGC 6.5 - Currently has a score of 2100. Sales for lower grades in 2021 (6.0) $4080, (5.5) $3360 and (5.0) $4635. This book should be at least 5000 points. Justice League of America 1 CGC 8.0 - Currently has a score of 5880. This book has been selling for $12k since 2015. This should have a score of at least 12000. Please let me know if you have any questions.
