1859. Size of a modern comic. Maybe it’s finally time for a bag?  Pages are supple with no brittleness. Edge damage caused by countless nibbles. Hoping soon with AI that I’ll be able to take some photos of the music and lyrics and hear the Harlem Boys Choir sing the songs accompanied by the London Philharmonic!  Seriously though the cover illustrations are awesome.

v01n01s of oversized picture magazines, quite the fad circa 1940-1941.  Some of them are bigger than others, but not a one is coming close to fitting in your magazine box.  These tend to be fairly thin and pretty much wall to wall photos with mucho cheesescake with long-legged all-American types.  A lot of mimicry in the graphics, not sure off the top of my head which magazine set off this wave, but surely there was one that led the way.
