Nice Bat/Tec triplet of Toddness.

The 3-armed Bat cover was previously signed when I got it in a mix of other Bat books. Again, the owner didn't know it was in the mix, and had already given me a price for the bunch.

 

ETA: Ergh!! Wrong book! Ok, fixed.

I purchased these 6 books as child or kid when originally on-sale, held on to them in 4 different decades and submitted (and received back) to CGC in 2021.  Having my exact childhood copies in the slabs to me are priceless.  I'm an extremely strict grader and these are all very strong 9.8's, none were pressed.. Thought I had a shot at a 9.9 on some of them.

These are my 'copper' McFarlane CGC'd books.
I've got a 'modern' one that I am equally appreciative of, but I wanted I didn't want to derail the thread.
To me (at the time) Todd McFarlane was the best artist working during my formative comic reading / collecting years.

NICE! Are you sure the sig is on the inside? or are there 2? there appears to be Stan Lee's signature at the red dudes waist.....

Oh gross. Yeah - I guess that's it.

Still, less of an eyesore than the usual Stan sig.

I wouldn't have noticed it if not for the Custom Stan Lee label & notation that he signed a few months before McFarlane did.

I actually would prefer my Hulk books with just McFarlane sigs, not Stan's.

I like it either way, so no worries, I guess it does kind of blend in though

My contribution...McFarlane was it when I was growing up reading comics. That Torment story line in Spiderman is still pretty bleh (I re-read it periodically), but I love those McFarlane Spideys (ASM and Spiderman). Always will.

I like signature series books, but I like raw signed books even more. I bought this one signed. Love the 300 someone posted above with the signature on page 1.

Yes! I bought them when the book came out. Very happy with the grade.

Who could remember, I mean forget, his iconic DC Invasion Book #1 cover! As I've said before the editors really should have got him to pencil Batman fighting some aliens instead. Oh well. The interiors of Invasion Book #2 include a rare treat, McFarlane drawing a host of DC characters! Everyone from Superman to Batman, from Wonder Woman to Captain Atom and even Peacemaker! I've included a couple of those pages as well
