speedcake
Just saw the news on Twitter. May he rest in peace. A jolly human who seemed to truly love what he did, the fans he did it for, and life in general. Glad I got to meet him a couple of times and got some sketches that I'll now treasure even more. And only 67. Just way too soon Galen130, supapimp and SpideyFein

Domo Arigato
Another sad day. Two legends of the hobby gone in such a short time. Rest in peace, Mr. Perez. Larryw7, Galen130, mysterymachine and 1 other
Galen130
Not long ago, I was able to acquire a slabbed book signed by him...among others. It will be displayed with other works by other legends like Adams, Byrne, Kirby, Lee, etc. Edited May 7, 2022 by Galen130 grendelbo, ADAMANTIUM and onlyweaknesskryptonite
Popular Post electricprune
Ugh, what a bad few days for well loved comic artists. Perez was right in my wheelhouse of childhood collecting. Drummy
My first ever comic (FF #172) had interior artwork by George Perez and Joe Sinnott. I never looked back. Peace and love to one of the greats, Dan Galen130 and Readcomix

Point Five
So gutted about this. His and Marv's New Teen Titans wasn't just a great read, but a formative influence on me. And such a great guy with his fans. RIP indeed. Galen130, Larryw7, troydivision1 and 1 other 3

Popular Post Point Five
It's kind of mindbending to look at those NTT covers and think wow, those were just the FIRST TWO covers. Beyond the richness of detail, note how each character has their own features, personality and body language right out of the gate. Most series never achieve that level of craft. And his art just got better and better for 4+ years! Galen130, wormboy, jdandns and 4 others
