It seems to me that most (if not everyone) pretty much wanted it for the speculation value of it and not as an actual collector.

I knew that was coming when I saw that on Ebay, to my knowledge on Ebay you get to "choose how much goes to the 'charity's after the auction? Something like that, they may have a minimum per the auction result.
