Spideyham Posted August 13, 2022 Share Posted August 13, 2022 I recently picked up a raw Spawn 1 listed as a 9.8 as well as a raw Marvel Secret Wars 1 listed as a 9.8 from this dealer https://ebay.com/usr/harleypool I sent in both books along with 18 others to CGC not expecting them to come back as the dealer graded since Ebay is known for having horrible dealers over hyping their books. However, to my surprise, both came back from CGC as 9.8's. There is still some hope on Ebay, not much, but some. Forget facebook and instragram, I got burnt there way to many time with scammers. These chat boards have been a Godsend for me in learning the ins and outs of this hobby. I have purchased raw comics from them, and, when returned from CGC, those issues are always a minimum of two grades lower (eg, MC grades book at 5.0, comes back from CGC as a 4.0, if lucky). There's no way this copy of MSHSW #1 is a 9.8 as listed.
