Popular Post Inaflash
Hello, Wally Wood started his comic book art career in the late 40’s and continued through to the 70’s, but many feel his best work was during the 1950’s where he produced some awe inspiring covers and interior stories. I’ll start off with a few of my favorites. Please show us what you have. Ken Black_Adam, Mmehdy, PopKulture and 18 others 20
Sarg
That was kind of a sore spot for Wood in his later years, I think. It became a running joke that fans would tell him "your older stuff was better," as if it were a compliment. I think he resented it. I've said this many times before... there was never a comic book artist better than Wally Wood on a good day. The problem is, he had plenty of bad days, too... Wish I had grabbed a better copy of this, but happy to have it at all... Weird Science is getting hard to find these days.
