The OP has let us know that they have been buying/selling for 30 years!!! that's like three decades, does their personal history mean nothing to you?

Obviously with a purchase from shortbox a concierge should have been on call to provide updates at the whim of the customer (whom is always right btw). The absolute detestable level of customer service provided here is tantamount to personal genocide, how could anyone buy funny books under these conditions?

I tell you what, you kids just don't understand what customer service is anymore... back in my day after working 31 hours in a single day I could scream at an Applebee's waitress (due to having to wait 10min, which is really an ungodly amount of time) until she has a panic attack and not only get free half priced apps, but get a completely comp'd meal at the Sizzler next door.... and everyone would applaud my willingness to teach the waitress how things should be done in a timely manner!

I buy a lot of books online and usually dont even check on the status of a purchase for like a week.

I think this may be a case of flipping. He bought the book in order to flip it and the timeline he needs to complete the sale to the other buyer is tight. Hence the shipping anxiety.

It's too bad you deleted all your comments.  It would have been good to leave them here for anyone else who might be upset that their Shortbox order didn't ship in 3 business says.  

Would have been a great example of how not to handle the situation.
