Be surprised if someone said they wouldn't. For most books I'm after, would pay somewhere between the purple and blue FMV.  And it takes a lot for me to buy most purple labels.

If it's a very tough to find book I have no problem with conserved or restored.  For anything else it would come down to how badly I wanted it and if it was priced appropriately.

In this case it’s a conserved Pedigree. 
my understanding is that a Pedigree that is conserved does not qualify for the new  Pedigree label

I would 100% buy a conserved book, particularly a pedigree. I could very well be wrong, but I would assume a conserved book would keep its pedigree designation just as restored books do.

To me, if you know the grade, the extent of conservation, and the that it’s a pedigree, the new label or even if it’s slabbed wouldn’t matter much.

Yes, oui. No bias against PRO conservation. Amateur color touch is just bad.

If this book is raw, and is an expensive book, it brings up the question of whether it is “worth it” to get it slabbed.

CGC is charging what- 3% of FMV?- to slab expensive books. I imagine that is a deterrent to getting some books slabbed. I really don’t get that pricing policy; it’s not as if it costs them extra to grade an expensive book.

When it comes to GA, I'll buy Conserved, Color Touch, Married and I am currently weighing Trimmed - if it's not too severe. If there's only a few hundred of these books still in existence, I'm learning not to be too picky. I started leaning towards this attitude after reading 'Do Not Sell At Any Price' which is about the world's rarest records, and how some music only exists on lone records in people's collections.

I'm guessing CGC is too lazy to make a gold Pedigree label with the grey top edge, even though they've done it for conserved/signature series.  They've had too many problems combining labels.

To answer the title question, before the OP distilled it down to labels and such, yes, given that I buy to read, and slabs only last as long here as until I crack them open.  Brittle pages and trimming are the only deterrents for me.
