I wonder how many times that  Kansas City copy has been ReHoldered.

If the buyers were bidding on it because of its historical aspects, I'd be thrilled. I'm fairly sure the bidders are more concerned about its future ROI than anything else.

It certainly looks no different now, other than having a fancier gold label.  I wonder what "defect" was improved?

It's a beauty and some wealthy person is going to win it. But remember they are just a custodian. If I had that book I'd go on tour with it. Me and several heavily armed guards. Ex military types. 

Share it with everyone but charge a small fee (to cover the cost of the armed guards). I mean I'd probably be nearly broke after spending around 8 million for a stupid comic. 

Like 25.00 bucks for 5 minutes alone in a room with the book. Well the book and the armed guards. And no touching.

Called let us regrade book maybe it will go up.  Oh, there is a cost for regrade and fair market value buddy  How much.
