So my first question is are they keeping the JSA name as a dba of sorts? Or will it be CGC for everything that "JSA" does going forward? Not clear in the announcement.

CGC gonna train people to authenticate sigs?

Remember that they will consider this a separate service from the yellow label, maybe even a new 'color" for the slabs. The yellow labels will still be the gold standard.

I imagine there’s no way these would be given a yellow label.

If it's not going to be a yellow label, then, what's the point at all?  

I imagine they will give these yellow labels.  Possibly with some kind of notation to distinguish whether it was a "witnessed" sig. vs an "authenticated" sig.

That's exactly what I was about to say.  If they're not yellow why bother?  I can't imagine a ton of people want another label color.

Why not a blue label with notation above the serial number in bold that says "JSA Authenticaed Signature?"

Do you think there’s a difference between witnessed and authenticated?
