BA773
Ok... so few weeks ago i posted on the "moderns are heating up on ebay" thread a final auction about a batman run sold by neatstuffcollectibles. Yesterday on ebay i seen exactly the same run... and after searching on past sale i seen that they already had sold exactly this same one 3 times during the last month! At the beggining i tought it was just me who was a bit susceptible but honnestly considering the frequency of these sales and also the fact that is happen on many other lots... im start to think that there's shenanigans behind this... does neatstuffcollectibles charge exorbitant reserves prices on their items? Or would you told me that Ebay is such a poor place that bidders never paid their items? Or maybe neatstuffcollectibles have so much stock that they could assemble exactly the same lots many times in a month...? What do you think? ThothAmon
I would chalk it up to a non-paying bidder or two before I’d go to something more nefarious. Mostly because the seller has been around for a long time on eBay with thousands of positive transactions. I believe that the same company is related to Sparkle City which also sells on eBay. Popular Post joeypost
The correct way to have addressed this was to simply ask if neatstuff was a reputable seller. Robot Man, Semicentennial, The Lions Den and 2 others

Well if it is, ebay is definitly a trash... i mean they are currently relisting hundreds of sold items!
Popular Post Readcomix
They may not necessarily be relisting. They may have multiples. They are a massive warehouse, open to the public by appointment. I have not made one, but I’d like to out of curiosity. They are about an hour from my area, but I drive over that way for work on occasion. I saw the building one day and thought it might be a comics shop, then read the sign on the front door. Popular Post joeypost
The short answer is they have multiples of the same book. In some cases they may have hundreds of copies of common books. royaluglydudes, B2D327, crazyhips and 2 others

Popular Post BrianHoward
No, there are no shenanigans.... We sell these runs regularly, we assemble these runs or sell them intact when they com that way. Most of what we sell on Neatstuff are comic runs and lots... If you see something relisted, it is due to non payment. Ebay does not force bidders to pay and we as sellers have no other option than to relist unpaid items. I'm sorry that you had any concern here, we do hope our 100% positive feedback rating and 25+ years in the hobby serves as some assurance to bidders. I wish you would have reached out to us prior to making a public thread with a false implication in the title. This is a disappointing and unfortunate way to address this question. Looking at the other thread OP posted in about this, if you compare the auctions in question you can see the books are not identical in each listing. We have a huge warehouse and a massive load of batman comics. We have 8 more of these runs ready if anyone is interested. Brian Thank you Brian. For what it's worth I think you handled this non-troversy in a classy way, and that this serves as a lesson for some to think before they post. Perhaps the thread title could be edited? Dave2739, BrianHoward, SpineTic and 4 others 5

Popular Post Ken Aldred
An observation I’ve made on numerous occasions regarding tone, not a justification for the OP’s post. Whether it’s the Translate software being used, or not, even in the friendlier threads started by the OP, about artists or favourite comics, and so on, there tends to be quite an aggressive tone which can sound slightly abrasive to a native English speaker, more used to a neutral construction. So, when that tonal aggression is applied to an overtly accusational circumstance, especially one where there’s a case of not doing the online research first, it’s not too surprising that many feathers are going to be ruffled here in the process. Dave2739
@BA773Considering BrianHoward's response above, and as others have already suggested, could you edit the title of this post so it's not misleading? Other people could come across it in a Google search and get the wrong impression of neatstuffcollectibles. Readcomix
