I know Fiction House from 1945 is usually not posted in this thread. (Is there a War thread in the GA forum?? Maybe I am simply unaware of it. So, if I am posting incorrectly, please let me know).

 

I just thought I'd show this cover from Lee Elias.

To me, his use of depth and three-dimensionality on this cover is astounding.

I mean, seriously. Look at it.

Very tough title though. Just try asking for Submarine Attack or most other Charlton titles at your local comic store and see if you can get any more than the proverbial dumb look. Actually I think I'll try that this week!

The OFF 41. That will bring me to 71% complete on 10¢er war books (from the post-1954 ranges I collect). I average about 3 a year which amounts to about 1% a year. Woohoo!
