I love the idea of piecing together a long run. Unfortunately GA is where my primary interest lays now and they are just too expensive to put together a long run.

 

My longest run is probably USM 1-80 bought off the shelf.

Every regular issue of FF from FF Vol 1 #1 through Volumes 2 and 3 to present.

 

I have complete runs of some of my favorite bronze books (Invaders, Machine Man), as well as many modern runs -- complete Batman LOTDK, every regular issue of the Punisher, etc, etc.

I once had a run of Adventure Comics from #200 to #380 but I foolishly sold some because of a few flaws that annoyed me. Now I notice the gaps more!

 

Like adamstrange's signature used to say... "The observer notices the comics, the collector the holes."

Avengers 1-326 is my largest run. I've also got Captain America 100-400, and ToS 58-99. I'm two issues shy of Iron Man 1-231 (61 and 131, randomly).

 

And I *think* my FF 41-330 run is complete. Might be one missing. I'm missing a small handful of issues from JIM/Thor 113-462.

ASM 50 - present. MIssing 49, otherwise it'd be 35 - present.

 

It'd be longer, but I've put the focus lately on replacing lower graded books. So, what Spideys I do add tend to be HG replacements for books I already had.

I'll start it off with really the only series I still collect: the Amazing Spider-Man run starting with Amazing Fantasy 15 and going through the latest issue 532

 

 

What the median condition grade on this run?

 

 

I've been collecting VF and up ASM Spideys off and on for 25 years

 

I have 35 left before a full run

(unfortunately 21 out of the 35 are AF15–ASM20 and I'm sure I'll have

to cut my standards when I get to this point)

 

52 and below is strictly CGC in my run so far...

 

 

Congrats on your super run though - reguardless of what the grade is!

off the shelf, I collected the first wolverine series.....back issues I had almost collected 150 thru present of batman, which ron now owns.

What is the name of that guy who collected every single dc comic ever produced?

Detective 320 to present.

 

Both those runs include all the annuals.

 

Shortest worthwhile run I;ve pieced together: Harvey Spirit 1 and 2.
