Amazing achievement! Thank you for sharing! What is your next goal? Upgrade the #1 to an unrestored copy or add an AF15? ;)

 

Not going to upgrade the #1...it is a trim job but the colors and presentation are so nice I can live with that. Yes I hope to land a restored AF 15 some day.

Working as well on my FF 1-20 in 9.0 presently as well. :wishluck:

wow hats off to you for putting that amazing set together. What's the restoration on the 1? You planning on getting an AF 15 9.0 too? That'd be crazy....

 

Restoration (Slight Professional) includes small amount of CT on cover, tear seals to cover, staples cleaned, top and right edge trimmed.

Inching toward my 100-252 run as can be seen in my sig. Why 252 you ask? (Sorry, I realize that run is not Silver Age). Although it is a small key, by coincidence it was the last ish I received via subscription. It was 1984 and I was a junior in high school and I got too "cool" for comics at that point after starting subscribing in 1977. Years later I came back to my senses and I am working on this run. I was searching for 122 on Ebay and saw an auction for 39 (a mag I have always coveted) with a bonus of a lower grade 122 thrown in. I couldn't resist so here they are. The scan doesn't do the 39 justice, it is beautiful in hand (and can be seen in the PGM section)!

I have said it many times - Romita hit a home run right off the bat.

It's my favorite ASM cover.
