1koko
37,343.75 for the heritage #1 (Galactus is still super close with predictions)
Galactus
Well if the last copy sells for i think it will, it does bode an intresting scenario, where both this and the B+B #28 in comiclink sold for considerably less that the equivalent graded (non upgraded) copies sold for. Has this been repeated elsewhere in the last few months also, as i am not aware of what other key issues have been upgraded.
showcase22gr1959
Well since this is still the "DD Collecting Thread," I had to my post the only book I bid on and won in the C-Link Auction. (I wish I was posting a pic of the Curator #1.......but unfortunately I'm not. ) After I believe, single handedly submitting almost all bids on the DD #23 9.6 on Pedigree over the course of six months and finally capping out at $950.....I was thrilled to see another 9.6 #23 was coming forth in Auction!!! I'm sorry Sullypython, that book of yours you have listed with Doug is granted a great copy and has less miswrap.....but not accepting anything less than a Grand was a bit enthusiastic. After four years of stalking a 9.4 or 9.6 copy with at least ow/w......I present my one and only Rocky Mountain Pedigree DD book - my #23. Congrats! This books is well worth the wait. Wow, these RM's is preservation at it's best. I love how fresh and rich color the RM's are. I really need to a a RM to my collection.

Icculus308win
Well I was way off on the last DD #1 sale. I'm surprised it didn't even make it to $40,000.

1koko
So what do people think the ending price on the DD's will be. Curator 9.6 W pages is currently at $24,250 with 6 days left Heritage 9.6 OW pages currently at $19,120 with 8 days left Copy on Pedigree 9.6 OW-W pages starts in a 5 days and ends in 14 days. Last recorded sale was in Jan for $62,000 $45k $35k $28k my prediction $52k $38k $50k (Somehow Doug always seems to get prices that suprise me) Close on the first one: 50,750 37,343.75 for the heritage #1 (Galactus is still super close with predictions) With the Pedigree copy ending at $32,657 (reserve not met) it looks like Galactus won 2-1. But in all seriousness, i thought that the Pedigree Copy would do much better. Doug has a way of getting stupid prices on these key issues. Just makes you wonder how little the auction houses actually care about getting the best prices for the consignors, as with 3 copies coming on at the same time there was no way that this was ever going to set new records. DawgPhan
Won a couple of books on Ebay this weekend. #13 and #14. I already had a 13, but the price was right on this one. The 14 is an cgc 8. Happy with both purchases. This that I am now down to 5-6 books for my 1-25 run.

DawgPhan
I am sure that it wont be anything to amaze you guys, but I am happy with it. The first real run that I have attempted to put together. I am enjoying it and have found low to mid grade SA books very approachable, when I always assumed they would be out of my league. sufunk
I bought a collection back in 02 that had a full run of 1-75. Unfortunately though, most of them have subscription creases.
