I don't think it's actually a particularly hard to find issue, but there's definitely something of an aura about it as the end of an era: Cool, I don't recall having seen that one before. Out of curiosity, I looked on eBay and you are right about it not being hard to find, because there are five of them, including a 9.6! To be fair though, one of the listings does say "very rare". OtherEric
Found at my local store today. Those early issues that actually say "Four Color Comics" are always a particular treat to find! PopKulture, adamstrange, kaculler and 1 other

Popular Post jmg3637
building out my second comic closet, for my permanent collection. First one consists of two walls worth of long drawer boxes of just DC post silver age to where I stopped collecting/reading new at the beginning of Pandemic. about 45 boxes so 10K ish Second closet will house my marvels, gold silver DC,s, Classics, Gold Keys as well as finally curated all of my Four Colors together and accesable. I am guessing it has been at least a year, maybe two since I filled anything other than the now 3 boxes of graded four colors Finding small piles of four colors all around and want to be sur etey are all scanned prior to filing. Most of the ones I am scanning now I am not even rebagging into Milites as they are going straight into the two small gray BCE boxes of "replaceable books" I believe my criteria for those was 3.5 and under and lower priced. For some reason I cannot upload images now. I am guessing that my home wifi sometimes cannot support the bandwidth at the distance. I think the spectrum guy told me we had like 18 devices using it. 10th try after restoring draft they uploaded Main four color is 6 of the gray short boxes and 4 Drawer boxes. kaculler
Four Color (1st Series) #13. I won this in an auction last week. I've got another 1st Series issue on order as well and will have 14 issues left from that series when it arrives. OtherEric

jmg3637
Hate it when my tracking information is not up to date. The Four Color 21 from above was purchased from MCS but when putting everything together ( starting with First Series ) I realized that I had long ago traded for a much nicer graded 3.5 from A-1 comics just had not entered it correctly., so straight into the for sale/trade box It looks like I am only missing 4 5 7 and 15 from the entire First series. Over the last year or two I filed several holes including 6,12 18 as well as the 22 above from the excellent inventory system of MCS OtherEric and AJD

Popular Post 50YrsCollctngCmcs
I was happy to pick this up in the latest Heritage Sunday auction for a decent price. Slabbed by some unnamed company it will be coming out of the tomb for reading. I love these big thick first series four colors. This is my third in that series. A plus is I've never read Captain Easy so this will be quite interesting. Robot Man
I really have to hand it to anyone trying to put together a complete collection of Four Color comics. There are just so many of them and so many really obscure and scarce. I have a lot of them in my collection. Bought because I like specific characters and issues. I have no interest in a lot of the Four Colors though. And I certainly don’t have the dedication to search them all out. So, hats off to those who do! mlansdown and Hepcat

I then file those comics chronologically under that character's title as opposed to under Four Color Comics.
