I was kind of sad thinking about this epic collection being broken up after all these years, but now if we wanted to reunite them we would just need a boardie meet up. lol Now who is the guy who bashed my head in for the #114.

 

The break up is our gain. That's how I see it! (thumbs u Don & Maggie Thompson has blessed the hobby with some outstanding comic books and I am very pleased to a few to my collection! (worship)

 

Not I said the Fly! lol No Flash #114 here! (tsk) Only 1st appearances & origin stories for me! :headbang::P

I was debating between buying key high grade Flash issues and ASM issues.

 

The main factors that helped me make my mind up was:

1. Cost - I would have paid 2 -3X for the ASM books as I did for these books.

 

2. Flash high grade keys are a lot rarer than ASM's.

.

3. Potential - When DC starts to do Flash and others right with movies/cartoons etc., these books will skyrocket in demand/price.

 

4. I love the SA Flash "almost" as equally as Spidey. :cloud9:

Yeah, probably going to have to pick up one of the non key issues. I would of loved that WP #140 that came up on clink a few months ago, but way too much for me.

I have been looking for a nice #140 but I have not seen any recently.

Yeah I remember that one. It was a very nice #140 PC pedigree! (worship)

 

That's why I jumped on my #139 when I did. It's high grade key & a pedigree book, don't get much better than that! :cloud9:
