  1. Hello @Talem84, Thank you for contacting us. I do see an error here and I will report it for correction. I am reaching out to you directly so that I can create your order manually. I look forward to helping you resolve this issue.
  2. Hello @Steppenwolfscomics, My apologies, let me clarify. Generally, with screening, a CGC-graded book will be removed the book from the holder to evaluate it and then placed in a new holder if the book is rejected. If you are concerned that the condition of the book will result in rejection even without removal from the holder, simply include a note on your packing slip indicating that you would like a new holder regardless of the screening outcome. If we can help with anything else, let us know.
  3. Hello @Tom789, Thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry for this error. I have reached out to our Imaging department to see if we can update the image for book 4351883006. If we are unable to locate and replace the book's images, we will remove the incorrect ones. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  4. Hello @Dilligaf Thank you for reaching out to us. Comics and Magazines must be submitted as separate services and will be processed separately. You can ship Comics and Magazine submissions in the same box when shipping to us, but you will have a separate packing slip for your Comics reholder and your Magazine reholder. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  5. Hello @Steppenwolfscomics, Thank you for reaching out to us. In this case, you should choose screening service along with pressing and grading. If CGC believes that Pressing would not benefit the comic, you will pay only the Screening fee. If CGC-certified books submitted for Screening are rejected, CGC will return the book in the CGC holder. The screening fee is 1% of Fair Market Value ($15 min.) The 1% screening fee will be waived if pressing service is performed. If no service is deemed suitable for the comic, the maximum fee charged will be $50. If pressing service is deemed suitable but you decide not to have the work done, the full screening fee will be charged. Please keep in mind that screening service has a turnaround time of 30 business days in addition to the pressing and grading turnaround time estimate. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

  8. Hello @Glen Campbell Thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry that you have been unable to submit your cards. The largest cards we can currently accept must be sized 2-5/8” x 3-3/4” (6.6cm x 9.5cm) or smaller. Cards may be up to 7.25mm thick. These size restrictions are strictly adhered to for the safety of your cards, and manufacturing variances can result in some cards being too large by only a millimeter or two. I would be happy to share feedback with our management team regarding customer desire for larger holder options. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  9. Hello @BlckBox, Thank you for reaching out to us. I am contacting you via email to resolve your billing issue. I look forward to resolving this for you.

  11. Hello @TheCollector2016 Thank you for reaching out to us. The determination that an item is ineligible is at the discretion of the grading but generally, this evaluation will not change when resubmitted. The exception to this may be if a card is returned raw due to a size issue. If there has been a change in the holders and more sizes can be accommodated, a card may be eligible. We can currently accept cards up to 2-5/8” x 3-3/4” (6.6cm x 9.5cm) or smaller. Cards may be up to 7.25mm thick. Please note that small manufacturing differences in size can result in an eligible card type being rejected because it cannot be encapsulated safely. Even a millimeter or two over the maximum size will make the a card unsafe to encapsulate. If a card has been rejected because it is a card type that we do not grade, it is unlikely that it will be found to be eligible if resubmitted. You can find cards that CGC Cards does not grade here: https://www.cgccards.com/card-grading/cards-we-grade/#no-grade. This list is not all-inclusive, some card issues that are obscure may not be accepted. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  12. Hello @symphonia117, Thank you for reaching out to us. I have located your email and will send a reply! If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  13. Hello @CanesX Thank you for reaching out to us. Sorry for the additional time to respond, our offices were closed for the holiday weekend. The old blue labels have been retired. Any cards with the old blue label that are submitted for reholder will receive the current black label. If qualified the grade will be updated to the appropriate grade according to the updated grading scale. See grading scale updates below. Please also note that if subgrades are present, they will be removed with the new labels. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  14. Hello @Maelstrom_12 Thank you for reaching out to us and I am sorry for any labeling error. I have reached out to you via email with the next steps to resolve the issue. If you have any questions, please let us know.
  15. Hello @RoleyPoley , Thank you for reaching out to us. I am going to contact you directly via email to obtain your order details. Please keep a lookout for my email.
  16. Hello @ZunkFunk, Thank you for reaching out to us. One of the rules regarding subgrades, when they were offered, was that if the two lowest sub-grades are the same, then that is the final grade for the card. So in this case the grade would be a 9 because the two lowest grades were both 9. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  17. Hello @Davit Thao Thank you for reaching out to us. I see that you spoke with Allison and she is working on a status check for you. We will reach out to you with an update as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
  18. Hello @PovertyRow Thank you for reaching out to us. There are limits to the number of searches that can be conducted before the system will flag the user as a potential bot. Quick searches in succession may trigger the system to temporarily disable searches. After a cool-down period, you may resume your search. I am sorry that I cannot provide the specifics of what triggers these protections. If you are still experiencing this issue please let me know and I can speak to your WebHelp team to see how we can assist.
  19. Hello @Jon Thor Thank you for reaching out to us. I tested this book and I ran into the same issue. I have reached out to the Grading and our WebHelp teams to review the issue. I am sorry for any inconvenience, I will reach out to you via email for follow-up. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  20. Hello @BR0B0T Unfortunately, we do not have a release date yet. Following us on social media is a great way to stay up to date on announcements like new label releases, however. X (Formerly Twitter) | @CGCComics If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  21. Hello @Anthonyw93, Thank you for reaching out to us. Carrier tracking may indicate that your submission has been received at our office, however, it will take some time to reflect within our online submission tracking. All packages received move into an intake process where the contents are inventoried and compared against the submission form as validation before moving forward into the grading process. Should there be any discrepancy encountered with an item itself, a missing or extra item, or any other concern, our customer service team will reach out for clarification accordingly. Please note that the intake process can take upwards of 7-10 business days before the order will reflect within online submission tracking. This period is accounted for in the overall estimated turn-around time displayed at the point of the submission. We appreciate your patience as we work to get your cards into the system and on to the grading desk. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  22. Hello @DR23, Thank you for reaching out to us. I see that the QR code is defaulting to the verification page. I have reported this issue. When I have an update, I can reach out to you directly. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  23. Hello @Alvin Chew, Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing a photo of your cards! If your cards are not currently listed in the database, you can submit them by using the "I can't find my card" link and entering the card details manually. Please confirm that your cards are compatible with our size restrictions - currently, CGC Cards accepts cards sized 2-5/8” x 3-3/4” (6.6cm x 9.5cm) or smaller. Cards may be up to 7.25mm thick.\ Unfortunately, we do not offer the option to request authentication only. The Authentic designation is used for cards that are authentic and unaltered but cannot receive a numeric grade. An example is a card with a missing portion of the stock, such as when a card that was meant to be hand-cut falls below the published measurement tolerance, like an early 20th-century strip card. This designation is only applied at the discretion of the grading team. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  24. Hello @tmac100, Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, you have the pricing is correct. If you are submitting to us directly, rather than through an authorized dealer, you will need to purchase a membership as well. Depending on the membership you choose, discounts are available! The most savings for customers who will submit frequently or in large quantities is the Elite membership which comes with a $150.00 grading credit and 10% off grading fees. Elite membership is $299 per year. If your submissions will be less frequent the Premium membership is another great option and it offers a $150.00 grading credit, The cost of the Premium membership is $149.00. New members may want to test the waters with an Associate membership for only $25.00 annually. The Associate membership will provide you with submission privileges and is a good option if you plan to submit a small order. For the order type you describe, the Premium membership or Elite membership would be the most cost-effective. While the Elite membership has a higher upfront cost, it is the best option for continued savings for future submissions. You can view all membership types and the benefits/discounts provided for each here: https://www.cgccomics.com/join/ If you have any other questions, please let us know.
