  1. Managed to pick up another Frazetta SS... (only one he signed for this issue) Goes well with this one... (also the only one he signed for the issue)
  2. Those are by Mike Hoffman, he sells quite a bit through ebay. http://stores.ebay.com/hoffmaninternational His style is reminiscent of Frazetta (his website) http://mikehoffman.com/
  3. Have they just changed this? I used my first coupons to have 3 mags graded last year? If so? that is mess! Not sure where all the misinformation is coming from, but I called today and as long as you send all the same type (all 3 mags or all 3 comics) they will grade them with the coupon. You can't mix and match though, for instance 2 mags and 1 comic or vice versa.
  4. Yes, I have seen the Golden Girl litho before, they show up on ebay from time to time. Worthpoint says around $550, I am sure that also depends on condition. http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/frank-frazetta-lithograph-the-golden-girl Which seems about in line with the one sold on Heritage for $517 back in 2006 http://comics.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=819&lotNo=6649
  5. I bought a few Steven's book's from Mayor006, well packed arrived quickly, even an extra book. Thankies...
  6. Tried to avoid one of these for as long as possible, guess I am lazy... Thanks for dropping in...Cheers (thumbs u
  7. This just came in today.... a fairly tough book IMHO. Definately tough to get a good scan..
  8. Guess I need to tighten up and submit these 20 or so books that are piling up...
  9. Fine, these 2 just came in.... They should look nice once graded and next to this one, I think that will be all of the Frazetta Lampoon covers.
  10. Nice ones Yeah, Kelly gets no love, and not only is he related to Frazetta by marriage, he is the only artist I know of that recieved tutelage from him.
  11. Just kidding about the freezing over, but I really don't plan to sell those.
  12. No problem, however odds are you will see this sign first:
  13. Yes and they are mine, mine, all mine!!! Mwhahahaha If I hadn't sold one to Bob-a-loo a while back I would have 5 graded copies of that book right now. Lowest grade is this one, but still a keeper with the signature. (tough book to scan, actually looks much better in hand)
  14. Just picked this up, only a slight upgrade from my 9.4, but what the hey... I have a weakness for Frazetta covers, what can I say
  15. Just got this in...I think it's the nicest copy I have ever held in my hot little hands.
  16. Sweet, definately worth the extra $1 Here are a few I found.
  17. Well my scanner was so accurate, let's see how my camera does. As you may or maynot be able to tell, the ink is heavier in some areas of black, and shines more in those areas, whereas a memograph or xerox would be even. I had once thought about selling this book, but after all this....no way. Real, fake, who cares it's a great conversation piece.
  18. My scanner rulez, from now on I will just scan books and email the image to cgc for my grades since it's so much more acurate than having the book in hand.
  19. I found this cover appealing as a youngster. Not the hardest issue, or then again maybe it was.... Diabolic horn placement
  20. Not sure what it is about this cover, but I have always like it, it's probably because I like the story that goes with it. One of Tom Suttons best covers, IMO
  21. A few years ago I was told 100 pages or less and 8.5 x 11 or smaller, however I think they can do over 100 pages now.
  22. That werewolf needs to eat more people he is skinny
  23. I agree that Warren was a bit of a showman, but I don't think that he would mention special staples and special paper in a reward flyer if it were not true. Why mention them at all, the first print had neither. Riddle me this, say you want to counterfiet something, wouldn't you use the same or similar grade paper, the same type of staples, and the same print quality? When people counterfiet money they use the same grade of paper (the good counterfieters do) and no one uses a higher grade of paper. They definately try to make it as close to the original as possible. The second print is the exact opposite of all the rules of counterfieting, and actually follows what someone would do to prevent counterfieting. Blue staples? really? I guess that's all the printer had in stock.
