I picked this one up a couple weeks ago. These ones rarely come along and I was really happy with it. It has some nice Baker art in the interior.

Bah, his Batman # 1 is coverless ... but he does have 3 copies of Superman # 1 ... A G.A.tor for another age I guess (Article from June 8, 1965) I wonder if Gary knows / knew Bill? Gary? Anyone know what happened to Bill and his collection?

I know this isn't a comic but it's a beautiful little children's book. These are near impossible to find. It is a book called "Cinderella" where Matt Baker participated in some of the illustrations. You can see that he had a hand in the fairy.

I received the Planet 53 really fast from the seller Batmanfan. I do agree that things got mixed up and muddled in the thread and let's hope that the seller can figure it all out for next time. He really did get a hazing in the thread and stuck it out...so let's hope that the next thread goes more smoothly. I was also a bit skeptical with all the confusion in the thread. I do want to say that I am happy with the Planet 53 I bought.

Yes it does BB. I don't recall how many Canteen Kate's there are in this particular one. I very rarely see them and then I saw two just recently up for auction. I picked this one up probably about 6 months ago.

Here's an All Picture I picked up awhile ago. It is a shame about the punch holes but I bet this is also what kept it so nice. Also, here's a TT1..

Great book. Baker was at the top of his game drawing Rust throughout that one. I agree with you on this. There is so much detail in the panels on this book. Just a little bit ahead of it's time, a shame it wasn't more of a success when it was first published.

I just noticed there is a playing card on the cover of the bottom one.

I found a really nice copy of this Jungle comics at James Payette. It looks very much like a Baker girl, although Baker was not working at Iger's at the time this was published. I'm thinking it was back stock. What do you think Baker girl? And, I also picked up a couple of APC's. I must say they are very conservatively graded and I'm really happy with the service there.
