  1. I still need one of those. Got a sweet copy from Terry a while back, but it was trimmed.
  2. Men in Action only lasted until issue 9. LMK which book it was you were thinking of, and I'll see if I can help you out.
  3. Took me years to find a nice copy sans miscut. I even passed on a VF/NM that had the miscut 'cuz I knew it would bother me.
  4. Michio Kaku is a pretty amazing author. I read Hyperspace in high school and was instantly hooked on theoretical physics. In fact, I am reading Parallel Worlds right now. Also reading: The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zaffon (just an excellent book, full of mystery, history and romance) Bored of the Rings by The Harvard Lampoon (a favorite since junior high. Great parody, but that might just be the nostalgia talking) I have Parallel Worlds and Physics of the Impossible waiting on my shelf, just not much time to read. I read In Search of Time a few weeks ago, it was a lot of fun. Just finished SuperFreakonomics, two words: monkey prostitution. That was a blast, I finished it in less than a day. Currently on The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene.
  5. Since you're being so accommodating, hows about posting it in the mail to me?
  6. That looks like it might be an unlabeled Ohio copy.
  7. Now where's that stack of Church AMFs I had lying around. Killer pickup Bunky.
  8. Thanks BOOT! I'm a fan of digests in general, but there are so many overlooked throughout the GA I don't know where to start. I often just pick them up when I see them. I should probably put a list together some day.
  9. Thanks guys! I haven't been this excited about a GA purchase in a while.
  10. Wow, I didn't see that the TC collection went back that far.
  11. The Speed 16 was the last one, primarily because I was never willing to pay the crazy asking prices on most copies out there. It's sheer luck that I have the Double-Up, and if I had wanted to include that before I started the task, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have started.
  12. Cross-posting, but screw it. I've been waiting for years to fill this run.
  13. Man, I've been wanting to post this group shot for a LONG time. The 16 just arrived and I am... well,
  14. Yes, it means it belongs in "M"y "C"ollection. Please send it along.
  15. Just finished "The Lightness of Being" by Frank Wilczek -- highly recommend it if you like physics. Actively reading "Traffic" by Tom Vanderbilt and "The Rise and Fall of the Bible" by Timothy Beal.
  16. For some strange reason I can't focus on her dress.
  17. Congrats David! Definitely an overlooked book given the lack of a generic red Schomburg cover, but you've got S&K, Wolverton, & a Nazi ghoul torture cover. What's not to like?
  18. Who has read Johann's Tiger? Haven't, but will now!
