  1. That Horror from the Tomb story reminds me of "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka"
  2. damn, i don't even remember owning that piece. Me either Each of you are very kind, but we all know who the kindest soul amongst us is.
  3. Yeah, welcome! The cost of admission is a sweet Everett Atlas book...
  4. it sold for $25. . tell your friend I'll give him 10x that for his ..that's right, offer him a cool $250 for me He laughed when I said I'd take it for $3,000 :: that acutally might be close to gatorfmv, depending, of course...if he is laughing, his choice (thumbs u fixed that
  5. I agree a super sharp book, looks the way its supposed to, NOT IN A PLASTIC TOMB A man after my own heart!
  6. Love the baby blue in the logo contrasted against the dark brown.
  7. Very cool. Al Stoltz has an Elflord 3, 4, & 5 from the 1st series.
  8. I tried to nab some of those 100 pagers years back and never saw any that nice!
  9. Big Shots are woefully underappreciated. Some of those stories exceeded 20 pages and were great. Anything fun inside that one?
  10. If it really is a 5.0, I don't think that $800+ is out of line at all. I agree. The only other copy I've seen that wasn't trashed was the Bethlehem (I think) which was faded, but in the 7.0 or 8.0 range. It's out there in slab land. It's really an interesting book, not hard to find in 3.0 or less, but virtually nonexistent above that.
  11. That particular copy, while not in the greatest shape, had a very nice deep green to the cover; which is the first copy I've ever seen with that quality. Every single other copy I've seen has had at least some fading.
  12. There was a low-grade copy of #1 on Ebay a month or so back, went for $100 IIRC. I was tempted, but I can't get by the errr.... "prominence" of the dude's banana hammock on the cover.
  13. What about the 1980 Elflord series. Wasn't that print run only 1-200?
  14. Thanks for sharing. Are those from #3 or #4? I didn't think Snarf was in #3.
  15. I have all four They were still in that weird brittle cellophane they were shipped in, unread and never opened until I got my hands on them I've never read #3, is it worth tracking down for the Hansen art?
  16. When you get time...could you check your copy of 107 and let me know if it has a Kirby interior...the label doesn't list one, but OSPG says it does. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u No Kirby inside, but 2 nice Keller stories & an Ayers.
  17. Love the KC 107, I don't have a scan of mine handy. But the KC 100 may be my favorite of the 4 Kirby monster issues. The blue & red contrast so well. Definitely gives RK 22 a run for its money. I'm sure I've picked up a few more of these recently, but these are the only ones I have scanned.
  18. 4 favorites is a great run, tons of fun in-between the covers!
