  1. I actually purchased this book at an LCS in Cookeville.
  2. A little hard to see, but there is an SN mark at the left edge just below Sandman's cape.
  3. Unfortunately, with the Photobucket debacle, many of the images are lost, but the text that I wrote for this collection is still readable and relevant. The Cookeville Collection I’ll try to add some of the photos that were lost into Robot Man’s new thread.
  4. Typical Board rules apply. No probation listers or Hall of Shame members, please. First in the thread is the and trumps any PM negotiations. PM's are always welcome. Returns are accepted, but return postage will be on the buyer. Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail in the US and is included in the price. Shipping to Canada, add $20. Elsewhere, at exact cost via FedEx. I'll accept PayPal, MO, or check.
  5. I know you guys like flamethrower covers.
  6. I thought this one looked a little better than it graded, but what do I know?
  7. Not high grade, but completes all the Ultra Man covers for me.
  8. Got this back from CGC. I'm back to100 % the Hitler covers. I've felt so...incomplete the last few months.
  9. I sent in 5 CBCS books on the value tier, so no prescreening. They shipped yesterday. The results were similar to previous submissions. Most stayed about the same or dropped very slightly. Same for page quality. Dogface Dooley #5 5.0 W to 4.5 OW/W Exciting Comics #40 4.0 W to 3.5 OW/W Exciting Comics #48 5.0 W to 5.0 OW/W Strange Worlds #18 4.5 OW/W to 4.5 OW/W Strange Worlds #19 5.0 OW/W to 5.0 OW Just as an FYI, I submitted two CBCS books that I had already cracked before the deal was offered. So they weren’t eligible for the reduced rate grading fees, but were submitted as raw books. Heroic Comics #6 7.0 OW to 7.0 CR/OW Heroic Comics #11 7.0 OW/W to 7.5 OW/W (the only book I’ve had go up in grade)
  10. My submission info is also unavailable. It’s a pretty common occurrence with their website. It’s usually fixed in a couple days.
  11. It’s even worse than you think. If you look closely, you can see that he brought the photo to have it autographed. But then he stiffed Hitler the $20 autograph fee. That’s why Adolf had to call security.
  12. Hi, I’m requesting a new set. Bill Barnes, America’s Air Ace by Street and Smith from 1941 for issues #1 to #12. The series began with Bill Barnes Comics #1 with a name change to Bill Barnes, America’s Air Ace, with issue #2. After #12, the name changed again to just Air Ace (which already has a registry set). Thanks!
  13. Very nice. Thought you were giving up on the Champion run. Or did you just pick up this one because it is so awesome?
  14. Thank you to those who PM’d about this comic book. I’m going to do a one time price drop and leave this thread up for a couple more days. New Price: $925

  16. No, it's not a war cover, so it sticks out. But I do like SuperSnipe.
