Not much of a story. Ive wanted a copy for awhile and was planning on going after the 9.2 in the next Clink auction. Spider-dan posted this one for sale here on the boards last week and we made a deal that i couldnt refuse. I didnt want to pass this one up and then have the Clink copy go higher than i could go and come away without either copy. I couldnt be happier with this one though and am SOOOO glad i got it. In hand, its as nice a 9.2 as you could hope for. I've bought a lot of slabs and when you get them in hand, you're a little disappointed and think they got a gift grade. This copy DEFINITELY didnt get a gift grade, if anything it got shorted a bump.

Not in terms of value but it definitely trumps my x-men 1 in terms of As much as I love x-men, the avengers has always been my all time favorite title. Until I can get a nice Avengers 1, this book will be #1 in my heart!

I've bought a lot of Avengers recently but this one definitely takes the cake. After getting this, theres actually a light at the end of the tunnel of finishing my Avengers run. I am so happy with this book i cant even put in into words!

Michael is A+++ to deal with! We had talked about a relatively inexpensive Pedigree book that he had and we both loved. I tried to get him to sell it to me and "name his price" but he didnt want to let it go. A few weeks later, i bought some SWEET X-men upgrades from him and then BAM out of nowhere he throws in the beloved Pedigree book FOR FREE A true class act and GREAT guy. If every seller was 1/2 the guy Michael is, DAMN would this be a great hobby!

Well, i finally won a Twin Cities book It was a little expensive given the grade but nowhere near the premium a lot of the TC books are getting. Regardless, i've always LOVED this cover and its one of the very few that i dont have a raw copy of in my 40-300 Spidey run so i'm definitely psyched!!! Cant wait to actually get it in hand and see what all the fuss is about with these TC books!
