Well, overall he still made money it looks like because of the couple big upticks on some of those books. Hey, i was happy. I got the avengers 10 cheaper than it went the 1st time around and it sure is nice in hand!

WOW! That is beautiful,and to think it stayed so nice probably sitting next to a bus bench while people waiting for their bus. Thats what i was thinking. I assume those were books they bought to have on the train for kids to read, no? To find a copy in THAT nice of shape is pretty amazing! I remember a restaurant we used to go to when i was a kid would have comics there for us to read. A lot of them would be valuable if they were HG but every single one of them was beat to living hell. When I do another Avengers run it will be the first 100. And likely all VF/NM- or so, and raw. 1-10 is cool, but there are some fantastic covers in the first 100. And it really is an affordable run in below 9.4. Not the 1st 7! Compared to FF or ASM i guess they still are pretty "cheap" but still pricey for me!

Man, I had to post a second on that one. Perfect registration, vibrant colors , perfect staples...excellent pickup Jason ! Thank you! it has that small dust shadow on the bottom which is a little annoying but other than that, it is REALLY nice

I've heard a LOT of people bad mouthing the Suscha ped and saying they got Gift grades. I e never once heard anyone say that about the TC books. Now, i dont know if I'd say the TC books got gift grades but most of the ones I've seen certainly aren't strong grades IMO. That is a SICK 55 you have there tom

My bad, i thought that was the Clink copy. I finished bidding on the Avengers in the Pedigree auction and then completely forgot to bid on that one. Thats an even better score than i thought since you got it at a hell of a price!

That is NICE! I think that was the 1st Spidey book i ever bought as a kid. I was into the Avengers, X-men and Thor back then and didnt really like ASM but since it had Juggernaut in it, i bought it. Seeing books like that one almost make me feel like a 10 year old again buying comics off the news stand and rushing home to read them

I don't know if anyone has looked or if anyone other than myself and cheetah care but there are some INSANE early Avengers in the august comiclink focused auction! Way out of my league since they are 9.6-9.8 but DAMN are they nice to look at and dream about!
