  1. Been offered more than 3k for my 0.5
  2. Wait a minute..... You're claiming a 3lbs priority package would have been $19 MORE than what you already paid? So $22-23 to ship priority...for a 3-4lbs package? I just ran those numbers....you could ship priority from the east cost all the way to the west coast for $15. or all the way to Hawaii in the medium flat rate box for $11.30 Right. I was going worst case scenario. In which case he's only moderately wrong. Normal scenario, like you mention? He's delusional. $11.30 in a ********pre-paid*** medium******* flat rate***** box. I sent the books in my own box, which is thick double wall; the sort of box that CGC ships out slabs in. Not a medium flat rate box. Maybe the clerk wasn't accounting for the pre-paid postage that was already on my box.Which was about $3.77 ,IIRC. Look, if 1Gringo wants to send the slab back to me, fine.I'll cover his shipping cost, and he can keep the raw book.If I was more patient, I would have cracked the slab and subbed it to CGC, I think it should have gotten a 9.8.Instead, I cut my losses and put it up below FMV, even for a 9.6, with free shipping as well. I own and operate a small landscape construction business, I had 2 things going on last month.I will explain and then I'll stick a fork in the lot of this and the board can decide wether I should be tossed to the fires. During that 1 month where I didn't ship the book, I worked an average of 75-85 hours each week.I installed a 210 foot paver walkway and 2 sets of steps, followed with a small 10x40 foot firepit in the homeowner's back yard.Landscaping to dress up the job in the front consisted of removing an ugly, overgrown shrub and planting a Japanese maple in its' place, along with decorative flowers and 5 yards of mulch in the front bed. I didn't use a Bobcat. With the exception of a helper, I did all of the excavation myself, by hand. During that month I went up to Baltimore to sub books to CGC.Went up there on Saturday.Had about an hour of sleep, was up all night prepping books on Friday.Got back and found out my helper was trying to negotiate a job with the homeowner.Fired him on the spot. So I completed the job by myself, it's very hard to find a brick layer, who has a driver's license and will show up to work, everyday. Now, I am working 2 days this week on a stump grinding job with the rest of my time spent on pressing books ,ebay and getting my stock ready for a show this weekend. So, there you all have it. Either put me on the probation list or do not.I have done nothing to be ashamed of. The lot of you are reacting like I am a Godamned pederast. Ya you were so busy you only managed to post almost every single day of September at all the hours of the day, sometimes each day you posted, morning, noonish, afternoon and evening. You also had a boat load of time to post books for sale on facebook (and here at the same time). Continue to try and get everyone to feel sorry for you being "too" busy.
  3. If someone buys your stuff will they receive it before or after the show starts in the spring?
  4. All 5 invoices have shipped as of yesterday. Now to wait on the June stuff
  5. Wow only already 6 months behind and it hasn't launched yet. I hate that I liked this book so much.
  6. There was a movement at one point to have the holiday/raffle put on the list but others felt that those types of events didn't coincide with the Probation/HOS rules etc so shouldn't be there and someone can start a new list if they felt inclined. Notions of the PIF/Giving threads were also brought up (guys that claimed items, received them and never sent their promised items). I think that was 2 years ago when there was a huge number of individuals that received but never sent that year.
  7. it was a 0.5 not a 1.5. Good luck with the rest of it though.
  8. Any relationship? https://ca.news.yahoo.com/photos/students-blasted-cooking-whole-alligators-photo-082813976.html
  9. 4 of 5? I thought there was a 50 book minimum...at least that's what their web page says. 4 of 5 invoices
  10. MST prescreen Received May 26... 4 of 5 have shipped other in graded.
  11. If I PayPal you money would that fix the issue? Or go sell that guy a hulk 1 in wtb.
  12. When ever it comes to x-men comics, i pull it What about Ex-Men? Caitlyn Jenner
  13. If it shipped USPS that means it went Registered. If it shipped registered tracking doesn't show up very well as the unit is shipped under lock and key differently than priority. I imagine your box was shipped likely thursday and it normally takes 5-7 business days for Registered to arrive vs the 2-3 that priority takes.
  14. Well my books that were received 2 weeks before yours are still in graded
  15. Thanks. I missed that somehow. I was one of the old collectors who would use the coupon on big GA stuff. So now a premium membership seems useless. You can still use the coupon if it hasn't expired, but any new/renewals get the credit.
  16. No been several months since they changed to the credit program. It pissed all the old collectors off cause they only get a couple of books graded, but made all the modern guys happy cause they get a better return.
  17. Ya I noticed the Image Firsts and that got me thinking this book is pushed back again. Makes sense to launch the Image First and the the book...but shouldn't have announced it to come out in Nov and then not launch it Nov... Makes me sad
  18. Is this thing delayed again??? I don't/haven't seen orders available anywhere
  19. signature on the interior of the book (many TMNT books are blue labeled with KE sigs on the inside as well) See you this weekend
  20. I just had a pair in my last run as well. First guy "entered the wrong amount" and won by $1 more than his max bid...which was about 1% of the total (not bidding $2 on a $1 book) and the second guy just said nothing and didn't bother paying.
  21. You are entitled to your opinion yes, the reason criticism is discouraged in sales threads is because its pretty much with human nature all or nothing. If you allow one kind of criticism you invite all and any kind in every other thread. I think the only exceptions I have heard argued for, plausibly, were in the case of PL/HOS offenders, and the exposing of fraud. If its not that, issues should be expressed via PM. I get it, slippery slope. I guess what got me was when he stated: "i put the OR BEST OFFER in big letters to avoid peoples advice on the price and what i should do with it." Clearly his best offer inclusion is disingenuous and this leads me to believe he knows his pricing is spoon. I know your (and others) responses will still be the same, but this type of listing on the boards is extremely frustrating. I am not sure what is so frustrating about his post. YOU don't like his price at what is stated, yet you claim he is WAY over GPA...yet if we go back and look at GPA this book has sold publicly for it to be reported to GPA at over $4000 with only 2 signatures on the book. Or more recently for $3500 with only 2 signatures and this is the one you want to call out? Come on man.
  22. MST Pre-screen now at SFG after 115 calendar days
