I think that's where I recalled it last here on the boards. I'm also genuinely shocked that there's only 3 9.8's and 3 9.6's total on the census. I just find that insane. 50% of those had passed through my hands (2 9.8's and 1 9.6), I opted to trade an Aliens 1 CGC 9.8 for an MIB 1 9.8. A week later my second copy of Aliens 1 went for $450. His second copy of MIB 1 went for something like $150, he is a good friend and asked if I still wanted to make the trade (as we hadn't exchanged the books). I took it in a heart beat as MIB is a nostalgic book to me and the census numbers are stupid low (which is likely also due to the lack of heat which means people don't want to sub unless a ROI). I now have to track down the next few in the series.

None of this is relevant. The terms say "without a purchase." That means, "you don't buy something." Whether they're your friend, brother, dog, wife, or bed buddy isn't relevant. Still can't believe this is being debated, and with no one willing to stand up for what's right ("we don't agree with you"), on a board that endlessly talks about "making people whole." If you want to make money you need to spend money, be it physical money at a shop/cgc etc or invest the time to grade and scan. I bet if there was an easy way to do it the threads that had accurate pictures sold 2:1 more books than those without. If you kept your thread simple (KISS) it would not have been yanked (twice) and thus you would have only had to do the thread once. Another suggestion would be to do it similar to the VCC and just link thumbnails if you want to have 20 books per post, this time do your entire thread in a word document prior to posting on the boards (just in case of internet failure, thread yanking etc).

I assume you paid via PayPal. I would grab their contact info there and send them an EMAIL saying hey just thought I would let you know that I am discussing this on the boards since you haven't refunded me like you said you would. This often lights a fire under their .

I tried to buy books from them. They didn't have them at NYCC and would have them the following week, after 2 months of no contact I had to file a charge back.

I don't use it but Gocollect does. No idea where other than ebay they pull their data but... could really hurt GPA if they don't ever pick it up.
